Benoit Roy is Regional Vice-President, Ontario Region at Jarislowsky, Fraser Limited for Private Wealth clients in Canada and joined the firm in 2022. He is a member of the CFA Institute and a registered portfolio manager. Benoit (Ben) has 30 years of experience in the discretionary Investment management industry portfolios and relationships for private clients, not-for-profit (NFP) entities, trusts, corporate and institutional portfolios nationally and internationally.

Ben spent all of his financial services career in wealth management starting with Cassels Blaikie Investment Management, what is now 1832 Asset Management L.P. and 1832 Asset Management U.S. Inc. Ben spent 24 years working directly with private and institutional clients, unions and captive insurance while simultaneously spent 10 years building private wealth client centric mandates, strategies and portfolios domestically and abroad. Ben has been a member of asset mix, investment, strategy, product and advisory committees bringing a unified structure to the client centric delivery of the private wealth service and offering.

Ben has spent the last six years creating and enhancing unique leadership and relationship manager resource programs for individuals and the firm designed to exceed the ever-changing regulatory requirements. While the various programs provide increased oversight and mitigate regulatory risk, these are truly designed for the protection of our clients.
